Any type of point-of-sale and barcoding equipment. This can include, but is not limited to, consumer devices, scanners, printers, mobile computers, etc.
Hardware is inspected by a certified industry specialist who determines value based on a compilation of current market demand and value, cosmetics, and functional testing. After inspection, ScanSource POSB will provide you with a quote for the value we will credit to your account, for the equipment once the trade-in process is completed.
Due to the volatility of market trends, the quote you receive is valid for 30 days. If you wish to trade in your items after the 30 day period expires, just re-submit to get a new quote.
Email your acceptance to email@example.com and then shipping details will be provided. Reseller is responsible for shipping costs and you MUST provide tracking information for all item shipments.
Once your items have been received and inspected for approval, you can expect a credit back on your ScanSource account within 30 business days. Any discrepancies between the trade-in form submitted and actual products received will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If, for any reason, the credit takes longer than 30 days, you will be notified in advance.
Items may be returned and not valid for credit if the items received do not accurately represent the data on the trade-in request. Items – particularly smart phones, may also be returned if they are not deactivated from the carrier account, or if they are unverified. Not every device submitted is guaranteed to have value, due to condition and market demand.
